With a unique installation of Lord Ganesha to celebrate Mumbai’s most revered festical- Ganesh Chaturthi, Ford India aimed to highlight the significance of using genuine parts while servicing to ensure the well-being of their loved ones.  This Ganpati idol has been made from over 900 kgs of car parts like disk brakes, fenders, clutch plates, flat gears, shaft gears, spark plugs, connecting rods, automobile chains, crank shafts just to name a few. Our partnership Mumbai’s best metal workmen, to fabricate this 6 feet tall Ganpati, was a journey of continual learning, experimenting, exploring the wonders and challenges of using heavy metal car parts. This idol resonating with the sentiment of the ‘formless divinity and destroyer of evil’, the designing has been such that it conveys a creative thought of interacting with waste fused beautifully with our religious consciousness.
