• rich heritage of Indian textile
A journey of Starbucks Bean-to-Cup represented by an intricate embroidered artwork on brightly hued textile bases. Each of these frames are made by hand through laborious process that begins with template drawings, the dyeing of the threads and fabric in a specific colour palette and ends with sewing and embroidering. These works combine visual and written storytelling to explore how the coffee beans are planted, harvested, roasted and then processed into a cup of coffee.
