Technogaianism, a 1900+ sq ft masterpiece, is the embodiment of our visionary design and concept. Crafted from 1200 kg of repurposed plastic waste, it magnificently weaves together art by 15 master weavers from West Bengal, sustainability, and community collaboration. Our role was in the design and concept, and in just 90 days, this breathtaking installation emerged, showcasing the potential of repurposed materials and the beauty of mindful resource utilization. Technogaianism = “Techno” for technology + “Gaian” for Gaia philosophy
It inspires us to fuse nature and technology to make sure one benefits the other.
During the conceptualisation of technogaianism, the reduce, reuse and recycle priniciples were kept at the core. It inspires us to fuse nature and technology to make sure one benefits the other. Discarded packaging plastic waste (MLP wrappers from chips and biscuits packets) cut into thin strips, woven into ropes were used as the primary material to weave our design into large metal frames.
